THE AYDM CONDUCTED A RESEARCH ON THE ASSESSMENT OF COMPETENCIES AND EXISTING KNOWLEDGE OF PERSONS WITH PHYSICAL DISABILITIES IN THE FIELD OF DIGITAL MARKETING IN MONTENEGRO

UMHCG SPROVELO ISTRAŽIVANJE O PROCJENI KOMPETENCIJA I POSTOJEĆIH ZNANJA OSOBA S FIZIČKIM INVALIDITETOM U OBLASTI DIGITALNOG MARKETINGA

During March and April 2024, the Association of Youth with Disabilities of Montenegro (AYDM) conducted a Survey on the assessment of the competencies and existing knowledge in the field of digital marketing for persons with physical impairments (persons falling under the category of persons with physical disabilities) in Montenegro

Namely, the AYDM implements the international project DI-MARC, aimed at empowering persons with disabilities for remote work through the application of digital technologies and the improvement of competencies for work in the field of digital marketing.

For this purpose, questionnaires were created for the needs of Research, and the questions were designed for the self-assessment of competencies and existing knowledge of persons with physical disabilities in the field of digital marketing.

The research included a total of 105 persons with physical disabilities from the territory of Montenegro, through an online questionnaire filled out by them.

Also, the activity included a meetings with representatives of organizations dealing with the rights of persons with disabilities, in order to survey their users, and promote the mentioned project. The meetings were held in Nikšić and Bijelo Polje, at the premises of the NGO Mozaik, and the Association for Support of Persons with Disabilities of Bijelo Polje (Udruženje za podršku osobama sa invaliditetom Bijelo Polje).

The results of the research will be presented in June 2024, with the goal to serve us as a basis for creating educational programs aimed at empowering individuals with physical disabilities in the field of digital marketing.

The activity is part of the project Digital Marketing Capacity Building – Empowering Persons with Physical Disabilities for Remote Work – DI-MARC, implemented by the AYDM, in collaboration with the lead partner, the Institute of Economic Sciences from Belgrade, and partners make institutions and non-governmental organizations from Serbia, Croatia, and Montenegro, with financial support from the European Commission.
