Association of Youth with Disabilities of Montenegro (AYDM) announces public call for submission of photos and video material on topic of accessibility and safety of public transportation

Participation in the competition is open for all citizens, preferentially for persons with disabilities (PWDs), who can participate by sending photo or video content. Photos or video content should display examples of inaccessibility or accessibility of means of transportation, other transportation services, public areas and public buildings in which PWDs move, or means of communication and information in the area of transportation in Montenegro.

Photos and/or video content can show personal experiences.

Members of the jury from AYDM will not consider photos and videos that are old, and which were previously submitted for competitions, but it will be considered if these materials were published and solutions by the authorities were not made.

Photos and videos submitted by citizens, preferentially by persons with disabilities, have to show some of the elements of the inaccessibility or accessibility (wheelchair ramp, warning lines for persons with visual impairments, marked parking lot for persons with disabilities, parking lot which is fenced and therefore inaccessible…).

All prospective participants have to send their photos/videos by Monday, 16th November 2020 by 15:00h (CET) by mail to:  umhcg2016@gmail.com , subject of the mail: “Photo/video competition about accessibility – Pathway for PWDs”.

Participants should send the following information in their mail: name, surname, place of living, place and date when the photo/video was taken and contact phone. There is no limit on number of photos and/or videos one person can submit.

NOTE: Competitive part is open ONLY for participants from Montenegro, while participants from all other countries can submit photos and/or videos which will be shown at exhibition at the end of the project and on social media.

Photos and/or videos should show examples from Montenegro, while examples from other countries are welcome, but will not be considered for prize.

This competition is part of the project Pathway for PWDs (PUTokaz za OSI), implemented by AYDM with support of the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs within the call for projects of NGOs in the area of protection of persons with disabilities in 2020.
